This is the coolest artwork I think I've seen. They paint the wall in two layers, black then white. Then they scrape off the white to reveal the black underneath. Or maybe it's the other way around? Anyway, the whole palace was covered in this but it was too expensive to renovate so they covered it in plaster in the 1800s. Pieces of it are still there, and they are redoing the outside in it now.
